Made famous by his article « Does IT Matter? » in 2003, Nicholas Carr drives the point nine years later with his latest book « The Shallows: What the Internet Is Doing to Our Brains. » He sees the web as a great source of intellectual laziness and feels that for business, new technologies like the cloud reinforce the purely utilitarian and non-differentiating nature of IT.
